We had so much fun with these kids! It was an honor to sponsor a fishing event for this incredible ministry that serves children, youth, and families in urban Minneapolis. https://christschildrenministries.org
Thank you to our generous co-sponsors, Kurt Erickson, Erickson Guide Services, and Tom Jacob, Bay to Bay Boat Club, for helping to make this a special day!

Through the generosity of many, our 4th Annual Benefit Bass Fishing Tournament became a gift of strength and support for families in need of comfort and care.
This year's tournament champion, Cindy Kapadia of First Alliance Credit Union, directed her grand prize to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Rochester, MN, an organization that once supported her own family during a challenging time of need.
We learned how this very special house and team supports families with safe and comforting spaces, housing, meals, and care during medical crises. It was incredibly moving and deepened our appreciation of their mission. We invite you to learn more about their life-changing work here: RMHCMidwestMWI.org

Another generous community of friends and colleagues came together for our 2024 Benefit Fundraiser, supporting the Children’s Education Program at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
Through a dedicated learning center and community outreach program, the Arboretum provides children with hands-on learning experiences, and science-based school programs.
This donation was particularly significant for Bill Laing, our Tournament Champion, who lost his wife to cancer in 2008. The Arboretum was a favorite place for her and holds countless memories for Bill. It was a privilege to present the donation, alongside Bill, to this remarkable team. Our 2023 Benefit Bass Fishing Tournament put the spotlight on Lake Minnetonka and the quest to bring in the biggest bass, but the biggest winner of the day was HFS Chicago Scholars, the recipient of Brian Gallagher's grand prize.
"I am proud to be a donor and board member of HFS Chicago Scholars. For over thirty years, HFS has made a significant difference in the lives of promising but underprivileged high school students in Chicago. By providing financial resources, mentorship, and fostering a deep sense of community, our more than 200 students in the program have a brighter future." Brian Gallagher, Twin Bridge Capital Partners
.
Thank you to our co-sponsors Newcleus and SRM, and our tournament guests! It was a privilege to bring everyone together to expand our collective outreach.

It started with the idea of bringing people together, but in 2022 Intera's Bass Fishing tournament became a benefit fundraiser!
The tournament winner, Mike Newburg, selected Second Harvest Heartland as the recipient of his grand prize and we had the great pleasure of presenting a check to Maggie Overman Larson, Development Officer at this life-changing organization.
Hunger Facts:
A surprising number of families in our communities are going hungry. In 2021, 1 in 8 kiddos in Minnesota did not know where their next meal would come from. Demand for emergency food assistance is up 60% year over year.
