Our 2023 Benefit Bass Fishing Tournament put the spotlight on Lake Minnetonka and the quest to bring in the biggest bass, but the biggest winner of the day was HFS Chicago Scholars, the recipient of Brian Gallagher's grand prize.
"I am proud to be a donor and board member of HFS Chicago Scholars. For over thirty years, HFS has made a significant difference in the lives of promising but underprivileged high school students in Chicago. By providing financial resources, mentorship, and fostering a deep sense of community, our more than 200 students in the program have a brighter future." Brian Gallagher, Twin Bridge Capital Partners

It started with the idea of bringing people together, and thanks to the suggestion of our colleague and co-sponsor Jason Berman, SRM, Intera Capital's 2022 Bass Fishing tournament became a benefit fundraiser!
The tournament winner, Mike Newburg, selected Second Harvest Heartland as the recipient of his grand prize and we had the great pleasure of presenting a check to Maggie Overman Larson, Development Officer at this life-changing organization.
